The part number matched perfectly for my 2019 i3, and the safety box feels solid and well-constructed. It was a straightforward swap to replace the old unit, and now the battery disconnect works exactly as it should.

Installed this on my 2017 i3 and the connectors clicked in solidly, no wobble. The housing feels sturdy enough to handle the high voltage without any cheap plastic flex.

Fits perfectly into the i3's battery housing and the connectors are solidly built. I feel a lot better knowing the high-voltage system can be disabled safely for service.
